Hybr, a Bristol-based provider of an aggregated platform for first-time renters, has recently secured £3.24M in funding. This investment round witnessed the participation of notable entities such as Blackwood Ventures, Adjuvo, Alec Dent through the Atomico Angel Programme, and individuals like Hannah Rothschild, the former CEO of The Office Group, Debbie Wosskow, a serial entrepreneur, Rosemary Leith, and Evelyn Bourke, the former CEO of Bupa. The funds raised will primarily support the expansion of Hybr's business reach.
Founded by Hannah Chappatte, who currently serves as the CEO, Hybr offers a comprehensive platform that effectively connects young renters to vetted landlords.
Simultaneously, it caters to the needs of landlords by offering a connected lease-up experience and qualified tenants. One of the significant advantages of this service is that it is completely free for young renters. Currently, Hybr operates in ten major UK cities, including London, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, and Sheffield. However, the company has ambitious plans to launch its services in 20 key university cities within the next twelve months.
This recent funding will enable Hybr to further enhance its platform and meet the demands of an ever-growing market of first-time renters. With the financial backing from various investors, including seasoned entrepreneurs and industry professionals, the company is on track to revolutionize the renting process for young individuals and students. By expanding its reach to more university cities, Hybr aims to provide streamlined and hassle-free housing solutions to as many young renters as possible.
