floLIVE, a London-based provider of global connectivity, network, and connectivity management platforms for IoT, has recently secured $47M in Series C funding. Led by Greenfield Partners and existing investor 83North, the funding round also saw participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital, Saban Ventures, and Hazelnut Partners. With this new injection of capital, the company plans to strengthen its presence in the market by forming partnerships with additional mobile network operators (MNOs) and expanding its multi-IMSI over eSIM technology.
The funding will also be used to launch an integrated satellite connectivity offering and introduce innovative solutions to the market, such as advanced location-based applications, network-based cybersecurity services, and secure data routing.
CEO Nir Shalom is leading the charge in expanding floLIVE's hyperlocal global network, which spans across all continents and provides localized connectivity in a streamlined manner. This cellular data network, which is API-driven, serves as the underlying infrastructure for enterprises, OEMs, IoT Service Providers, and MNOs. By utilizing this carrier-grade, secure platform, these various stakeholders can build profitable IoT businesses while offering new revenue sources and value-added services.
floLIVE's hyperlocal global cellular data network is based on local POPs (points of presence) in locations worldwide. This design ensures compliance with emerging privacy acts, data regulations, and roaming restrictions. With the influx of funding from the Series C round, floLIVE is well-positioned to further expand its network, partner with additional MNOs, and continue to introduce innovative solutions and services to the IoT market.
