Gensyn raises £33.8m in Series A for decentralised AI creation software
Gensyn, a London-based decentralised AI creation software provider, has raised £33.8m in a Series A funding round led by a16z crypto from Andreessen Horowitz. Other participants included CoinFund, Protocol Labs, Canonical Crypto, Eden Block, Maven 11, Peer VC, Zee Prime, Id4, M31 Capital, and other angels. With this, the company aims to grow its team further and launch its product, for which the funds will be crucial.
The company, founded by Harry Grieve and Ben Fielding, has developed a Machine Learning Compute Protocol that connects all of the world's computing devices into a global supercluster, accessible to anyone at any given time.
