UK-based PES Technologies has successfully closed its £2.4M Seed Investment round, allowing the company to bring its innovative soil health measurement tool to the market by Spring 2024. The funding round was led by TSP Ventures and included participation from several other investors, including Kero Development Partners, Green Angel Ventures, and Moorhampton Investments Limited. The round also received additional funding from Innovate UK.
PES Technologies, based in Norfolk, has developed a product that provides industry-leading, biology-based soil health information in just five minutes.
The product utilizes PES' unique VOC-sensing technology to provide multiple biological, chemical, and physical indicators for soil health assessments. This technology will help to address the global problem of degraded soils, which have significant impacts on food production and resilience to climate change.
Founded in 2017 by Jim Bailey, Andrej Porovic, and Graham Bailey, PES Technologies aims to be the future of soil health measurement. The company is excited to complete product development, launch in 2024, and expand its team with key hires.
