Tem., a clean energy company based in London, UK, has announced that it has successfully raised £2.5M in Seed funding. The funding round was led by AlbionVC, a VC fund that has previously backed successful ventures like Just Eat and Zoopla. Revent, a European early-stage fund, and Christian Deger, a fintech angel who is the founder and CEO of Payworks, also took part in the funding round.
The funds will be used to expand the team and to continue to improve the platform.
Tem. is an AI-driven platform that helps businesses of all sizes to purchase energy directly from renewable generators. The platform matches businesses with the most suitable renewable energy generators and manages the transaction between the parties, bypassing the traditional energy markets. The company plans to open its platform to more customers in 2023.
Since October 2022, tem. has already transacted over £10m in energy transactions in the UK alone. The company is now committed to scaling and aims to reach 100 GW of annualised renewables contracted.
