WorkL, the home of the World’s Happiest Workplace List, has announced a £2M Series A funding round with Calculus Capital to accelerate its international growth. Founded by Lord Mark Price, WorkL has been a driving force in improving workplace happiness and engagement for over 5 years. With operations in the UK, Ireland, the UAE, Australia, and South Africa, WorkL has helped over 1,000 businesses globally and seen employees from over 70,000 organizations take their Happy at Work Test.
The partnership with Calculus Capital will enable WorkL to expand its domestic and international operations, further implementing Lord Price’s Six Steps to Workplace Happiness methodology.
This data-driven approach to employee engagement has proven successful, with strategic partnerships like The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards showcasing the impact of WorkL’s services. The £2M Series A raise will fuel WorkL's mission to improve workplace happiness and drive commercial performance on a larger scale.
Calculus Capital, known for investing in high-growth UK companies, saw the potential in WorkL's strong management team and strategic partnerships. Alexander Crawford, Co-head of Investments at Calculus, led the investment round into WorkL and expressed excitement to work with Mark Price and the WorkL team to further grow and scale the company. As WorkL embarks on this new phase of international expansion, the partnership with Calculus Capital is set to drive even greater success in improving workplace engagement and happiness.
